California Chemical at MFANC 2026

California is in our name. Northern California just made it more personal.

On September 17, 2026, our team joined the MFANC Conference & Suppliers Showcase at Michaels Restaurant in Mountain View. It was our first visit to Northern California, and the welcome gave us plenty of reasons to want to come back.

As a family-owned chemical distributor based in Chino, we spend much of our time talking with people about the materials their businesses need. This trip gave us time to meet customers face to face, hear their stories and get to know the community around them.

Some of the people we met were already California Chemical customers. Others were getting to know us for the first time. We shared what we do and heard about their businesses in return. That exchange made the visit feel personal, and it helped us leave with a better understanding of the people behind the company names.

The 44th annual conference brought the metal finishing community together for a Suppliers Showcase, technical sessions, a welcome reception and dinner. The program included workplace safety and corrosion resistance topics, with time set aside for people to meet and catch up.

What stayed with us most was the warmth of the community. People made time for us, shared their experiences and made us feel welcome. We’re grateful for that. For a team making its first visit, those conversations meant a great deal.

At California Chemical, our aim is to give customers clear answers from material selection to delivery. That starts with understanding what they need. Being there in person gave us a chance to listen and ask questions, with the people we work with right there across from us.

We came home with new connections and plenty of conversations we want to continue. Getting to know Northern California’s metal finishing community has been a memorable first step, and we’re looking forward to building on it.
